My longest pure color “flicker” film.
This work comes in 2 versions: a single screen version, which is very contemplative; a 2 projector version, which is extremely kinetic and outgoing (in this 2-screen version, one print of the film is played inside its mate, like and the center image begins one second before the other version. This][version (2-projector) is rentable from NY Film Coop. as a single screen film, we feed as if we are on some sort of journey, where we can never predict what is to “happen” next. It is engaging, like a novel full of surprises (where as the 2-projector film is so dynamic is seems as is the screen “yells” (declares) at the viewer; there is demo of a “narrative” effect. In either case the “narrative” is more like an _ soap opera, which just keeps turning and turning its many plots, rather than a very dramatic work which moves in a straight line to its conclusion. As a single screen work, it is indicative of a whole series of 30 minute chapters of a film called PASSARE, which I am _ working on.
