…and carry love within me always (my favorite mediation is to imagine that I am a deep-clear lake in the Rockies—whenever I have a choice, I am on the sea or  become proximate to a stream or lake or the sea, preferably in a mountain context---or deserts)—shoot the orig 14 min basic water flow image layers of roaring fork river for what became SSSSS, I also shot a film of rock surface/textures, interwoven with solid colors (sometimes flickering) with culminating in a vibratory field where the rock’s grains and moss spots become perceptually mixed with the “open-eye phosphone” textures caused by the blank color “flicker”—called ROCK DISSOLVE—destroyed but reshot Colo. Fall 1980, 12 years later.

In 1971 traveling 6 weeks all around American S.W. desert, camping out on N. Blankets, shooting cloud formations and earth surfaces (volcano fields, erosion config, petrogdyphs in swiped “means?” ancient Indian cave shelters on a 10 day deeps hike small sierra club group into escalate canyon (the stomach of Buddha)—celebrating sum. solstice, psylosibine laying naked in a stream bed appropriately getting quite sunburned.
