Each screen is composed of a slow rate of “movement” of “Specimen II,” in one direction, superimposed with similarly slow-moving images of “Specimen II,” moving in the opposite direction. Slight variation in rate of frame passage generates, in oppositional superimposition, a constant emergent expansion and contraction of color areas; frame images from one screen seen to slide into adjacent screens. A suspicious “presence.”
