Following sever meetings with Paul Sharits, I have these details to report:
1) I am sending you Color Sound Frames today. It is a new print which belongs to the Educational Communications Center/22 Foster Annex/SUNY at Buffalo/Buffalo, New York 14214, (716) 831-2304, which would be grateful for its early return.
2) I have requested that Stan Brackhage send you his new print of Apparent Motion. It should be returned directly to him at Box 170/Rollinsville, Colorado 80474, (303) 258-3389, assuming that he sends it on to you.
3) Either Paul or I will request that Joyce Neveaux at Castelli Sonnabend/420 West Broadway/New York, New York 10012 (212) 431-6269 send you prints of Inferential Current, Axiomatic Granularity and Analytical Studies I, and these should be returned to her at that address.
4) Paul has indicated that he will send you a set of materials to read.
5) it is the understanding of the Center for Media Study and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery that you have agreed to deliver a talk entitled Paul Sharits: Image and Illusion at the gallery on Tuesday, October 19, at 8:00 P.M. in connection with the retrospective of his work which takes place from September 24-October 31, 1976, and that the Center for media Study will provide you with an honorarium of $350.00 which would include the right to publish your lecture at a later date. For your information, Tony Conrad will speak on Prescription and Collapsed Temporarily on October 5, and lizzie Borden will speak on October 14. The Albright-Knox will provide a travel fee of $300, as indicated in the enclosed letter jointly signed by Linda Cathcart and myself.
