Dear Paul Sharits:

There has now been a chance to discuss your proposed
"stream" film with our curatorial staff.

Their reaction (based on both the proposal itself and
what some of them already know of you) was extremely
positive; we would definitely be interested in consider-
ing the film for an extended (i.e., one to two week)
showing at the Museum when it is completed. I'm sure
you will understand that we cannot make a more definite
commitment until it is completed. Also, any question
of scheduling would have to wait until then.

Thank you so much for thinking of the Whitney for the
film's first showing; I think the Museum would provide
an ideal setting in which to show it on a continuing
basis. We will be interested to know when you think
we may see it in final form.
