dawn over the city – the sky = the struggle of day returns from out of eternity –

the city = the slumbering squalor –

foreground – the benighted palling of garbage men – the moment of men’s calling –

thru its slack of correct types decorative art is always in danger of losing the charm of eccentricities of individuals
