Dawn over the City – use great dark slate gray (opaque in it – use Day’s gray) – in emotional unrealistic effect – enough opposed to reality – the great vast sky youth (think on a mural tone) (looking east at dawn – rain gloom from S.W. looking east towards Brooks)
