I still pitied him, but felt that he was beyond any help or sympathy I could give him. Perhaps I was wrong. I know that I am inclined to intolerance; however I admit that everyone has a write (sic) to his views on any subject, religious included, or to embrace any faith he wishes; but in Lankes' case, his (CD) toward Buddhism was not fundamental - it was only his slanting way of taking a shot at Christianity, not because he has ever seriously considered Christianity, but because it has been the custom of the intelligentsia for a century to scoff at it.
The secret of Lankes' failure is his weakness for talk - Talk, talk talk - in place of work.[i]
