The girls vacation was all too short for all of us. It has come and gone, and it seems as if it did not really happen. Thursday when I was painting, and the mild wind was blowing across the land, I felt a gayety and well-being, that came from the knowledge that in a few hours, we would all be together again. It was a happy hour that has passed like a dream. (CD) - Painted on the Poplar Tree picture - the new Lutheran chimes - vilely played.
