Milder weather – a dreamy dappled sky – As I walk out to the Fr. Rd. bridge to make s sketch a stray gleam of sunshine drifts across the road revealing my shadow dimly for an instant – the wind sweeping over the half-bare fields – the roar of trains and feel of moisture in the air – this stray patch of sunlight, where have I experienced this before?

My morning walk:
A light rain falling from a gray sky – The sun shows as a pale barely distinguishable spool – the freight cars on the siding are wet and lit up with a pale light from the northeast – walking along Union Rd. – I notice that the dead grass in the fields is studded with countless dew – like rain drops, which, lit up by the pale glow from the S.E. cover the fields like a veil.
