Was over at Bill’s today to invite him over for tomorrow afternoon.
About eight-thirty Fred Ephie Louise and I went to the station to meet the people from Rochester - two boys and two girls. So far I only knew them by their first names: Our John and John, Elma and Elizabeth. From the time they got off the train until now when we are all supposed to be asleep, has been a continued uproar. We cut up hilariously on the way up home. Home finally, we sat in the reception room and got acquainted. when it came to going to bed,the two visiting ladies took the spare bed-room, Joe, Fred and the two fellows the front roam, while Mother, Louise, Frances and Ephie took Joe’s room. Jim and I remained in our usual place. I had gone to bed when the uproar commenced. All I could hear was continual door slammings, feminine squeals and masculine laughter.
