of the many trips he had taken to put up statues for the company. We thought we had only been there about ten minutes but on looking at our watches we were amazed to find that five times as many had slipped by. So we cut our sightseeing tour short and hurried back to the office.
As I turned the corner around Lodge’s fence I espied little Mary Katherine running to meet me. She certainly is a fine little girl and doesn’t seem to have changed much since we first saw her. I cut up with her quite A bit before supper. Once we heard the band playing down on High St. Mary was all excited and together we went running down. It was the automobile parade of the people who are soliciting for the hospital fund, which was built recently on a $50000 subscription secured two years ago.
After supper Bill called up and wanted to know what I was going to do this evening. I told him we were going to the picture show.
