and in particular the line that says
The hillsides “dew-pearled” and the closing lines:
“Gods in his heaven, All’s right with the world.”
Yes on such a morning as this was, no one could doubt that God was in his heaven, and that he was a God to be worshipped and glorified! The air was laden with mist, and carried sound easily. At times a freight whistle wailed despairingly, and the echo came back again and again, giving to the morning an air of mystery.
After breakfast I sat down to wait for Bill, and read last night’s papers to pass the time. When a half hour had gone by and Bill had not shown up, I concluded that his mother had gone to bed before he got home last night and thus failed to give him my message. So I concluded to go over after him.
