floor I stopped a moment to speak to Bill, I haven’t been over since last Monday night. Without doubt the “something” that came between Bill and I in the spring has come to stay. When Waldo and he are together I feel like the fifth wheel on a wagon to use a worn phrase. I have done all I can. I have been over friendly and I went to see him everyday when he couldn’t walk. I can do no more without humiliating myself and that of course is out of the question.
It was only four-thirty but Bill already had his work done for the day. He is on piece-work and had already completed five cowls at 65¢ each. His foreman don’t want him to make more than that a day so he was all thru.
I received a letter from Louise Orcutt the other day telling me that Alice Bailey’s Mother had died. Before going further I will tell who Louise Orcutt is. She is Alice Bailey’s
