Freshman, was Alice Baily, from Bealuh,Michigan. She was a “good mixer”. Not so good looking she made up for it in her jolly good hearted nature. I can’t describe people - they are not in my line. But as I think of it the whole group was composed of the happiest people I have ever met. Everything “went”. No one paused to consider whether what they were about to do showed good sense or not. A good time was the main object. “Daughter” was Nola Rearick,whom “Father” had “a case on”. Her “Twin sister” was Marie Kurz. “Brother” was Monks, and “Babe” was Dorothy Kohn a pretty little Jewess. All these four were from Cleveland. There were three Uncles. “Uncle Hi” was Clayton Hawk of Elyria O. “Uncle Si” was Hubert Bush from Missouri, and I was “Uncle Charlie”. That comprises the lot, Hawk was the “court-jester” of the group. He was absolutely nutty and didn’t care who knew it or what they thought of it. We never knew
