(I have adopted a new plan for writing my diary. Up until now I have been cramming it full of “stuff” merely for something to write. Now I intend to put in only the important happenings.)
May! The most wonderful month of the year. Yes for birds are breeding and building now - and at such times the males sing mostly madly - and beautifully. The trees are just decked out in their new foliage - such fresh soft green green leaves. And fruit-trees have just finished blooming.
This morning, as I had planned,I got up and started out walking. My goal was to be Bingville, to which I proposed going by way of Covered Bridge. Oh how can I describe the joy and beauty of such a morning? The warm air, the grey sky and cooling breezes - and the birds. Birds and Birds.
