My walk to-day was fraught with so many delightfull sensations and sights that I am at a loss to know how to express them so that they will convey the almost yearning feeling of spring that possessed me when I experienced them. The weather was in every way suggestive of deep feeling and deep imaginings - clear deep blue sky, warm sun, with just enough chill in the air to give it a certain early Spring tang that stirred one peculiarly. When I awoke and saw what a wonderful day had come upon us so unexpectedly, I regretted greatly that I had not awaked earlier. The delight of seeing the dawn of such a day - a day with such a depth of blue sky - what must it have been! And as I went out over the fields past the Three Trees I could net help but have an almost overwhelming desire to shout and sing to the sky, to the bright morning sun, to the fields, and to the cool morning breeze that rushed over those fields! Such days as this coming in that time of the year when we look only for grey cloudiness and chill damp, are all the more wonderful
