King and Gibby afforded us one amusement today in English class.  “We are studying argumentation, and Miss Tate asked Gibby a question about it.  His answer did not quite suit her, and so she asked Waldo the same question.  His question she accepted.  Gibby, however was not to be put down and so he asked:

     “Wasn’t my answer just like his?”

     “I don’t know whether it was or not” she replied” I didn’t quite understand your explanation.”

     “Well” said Gibby in his hurried voice, very serious, “I did not quite understand his answer.”
