This evening I was criminal and studied a lot.

Oh gee I’m almost too sleepy to write. We had a “rip-roaring” time out at Schnurrenberger’s to-night. On the way out we came down Sixth St. Hill. It was a frosty night; the pale white moon was hanging silently in the cold sky; and the hill was swarming with boys and girls from all over town.
“Gee I wish we weren’t going to Schnurrenberger’s” remarked Bill mournfully
“So do I” I replied as a sled whizzed by. “say, its swell to-night.”
“Maybe we can get them to go instead of playing cards” he suggested
“I hardly suppose so. Merle has been out of school a couple days and she’s more that likely sick.”
“That’s so too. Well we can ask them anyway.”
“Sure. we’ll ask them.”
