on his way to Ruhl’s to get some comfort I imagine.  He said that Bernice Morgan had asked him to be up, as Grace Ruhl was going to have a gentleman friend up.  Bill did not want to go.[i]
                                                                    Friday Nov. 25 1910
     This morning I started early on making the place-cards.  Allen had given me the money and I wanted to get them done as soon as possible for him.  I am making them into shape of a foot-ball with a player in action at one end. 
     While I was thus occupied, I heard Bill’s voice below.
     “Come on up, you ronyon” I shouted down.
     He cam ecame stamping up.
    “What are you doing” he asked,
