chagrin that Hess was being penalized for going out of bounds! One foot had slipped out about six or seven inches.
This put a damper on our spirits, which did not revive, until towards the end of the fourth period when Alliance was nearing our goal. This threatened evil aroused us sufficiently to give cheering encouragements. The remainder of the game was merely a see-sawing back and forth which did little but use up the energy of both sides. When the referee blue his whistle for the last time, every-one gave sighs of relief and trooped out, each side, comforting themselves with the fact that it was a draw. Between halves we had gathered enough spirit together to do some cheering
