The second quarter, as were the remaining two, was much like the first. Towards the end, Hess startled us out of our senses by making a forty-five yards dash up the field for a touchdown - seemingly so. The way he tore through the interference caused us to rush along the line, waving our caps and hands at the Alliance rooters. Suddenly they arose to there feet with a roar of triumph. We looked over to the scene of the playing and saw to our
