     Afternoon came around -- and rain came down, yes it was raining.  But nevertheless we decided to go to the game if there was one.  So we meandered down town early - without umbrellas. - umbrellas are usually a bother anyway except in some cases.  Kinkie, when it looks like rain, always takes an umbrella along to church the park or wheresoever it happens to be, imagining that he would make a hit with umbrellaless girls.  Piffle!  But back to my story.  I believe we started down-town
