     This evening Bill came over to play cards.  We called up King but he said he was going to work Math - a favorite excuse of his.  Joe said he had to paint and so we went up and watched.
     He was painting a poster for the Thanksgiving High School Football game, intending to put it in his window at Atchinson’s where he works.
     Down below someone came in.  On investigating we found it to be a Mr. Lampton + Ms. Carl.  We were not overjoyed at their arrival and so we all fled to Joe’s room leaving Frances + Louise to entertain them.
