It took us, I think, about fifteen minutes to get the door open. When we went to pull out the nails, they squeaked so that we had to try other tactics – namely - bending the nails far back enough so that we could force the door open. But finally the door was open.
There is no use describing our going up. We didn’t having any trouble whatever in getting the colors nor in getting down to the street again. Astry nearly went crazy. We then went over to Bolger & Frenche’s Drug Store, where Gibbs + Day worked and in a back room there we divided the last colors that the Juniors put up.
Thus ended our class rush - one glorious escapade, showing that organization and immediate action
