We followed at a distance, for we wanted them to put the colors up so that we could have the pleasure of taking them down. We now felt equal to anything, after our recent success. The result of their maneuvers was soon evident. As we kept on our way down Main St., we happened to glance up, and there, wrapped around a spire on the town clock, was the detestable red + gold!
The getting down of these colors was dubious. We now the keeper of the town-hall, Jim Grey by name, to contend against besides the Juniors.
