We soon had the other pennant in our possession and with it we proceeded in Ellsworth. We stopped at Webers and left the pennant in a room that Astry had hired there, which he locked. Then we went on up town to find the other plotters. We soon found them and received the disheartening information that there was to be not balloon ascension that day.
