So Bill and I went posthaste for Haviland’s to get them to make a small pennant from the scraps.  We found them sitting in the middle of the floor busily cutting out letters.  The pennant certainly was a beauty.  It was nine or ten feet long and something on this order:
                                                                                  [i]
(Shaded parts green; unshaded yellow).
When we told them our purpose they readily dropped everything and soon had a small pennant made.  Thanking them, we hurried away.  On the way back however, we met the other fellows at the School building, who advised us.
