tempt, for the breeze was still wafting the colors in tempting proximity to my position. Securing myself as before, I again swung myself out after the colors. Trying to keep close to a post and trying to reach out away from a post was a difficult combination to run up against. Several times I grasped at the colors and, missing, almost lost my grip. But finally my efforts were rewarded, for a sudden gust of wind, stronger than before, blew the colors within my reach and pulling them swiftly in, I untied them and put them into my pocket.
