Johnson + Lease put a damper on the “rush” spirits of all.

But now that it had been started, we wanted a flag rush and was going to have it too.  And so, in the evening mustering together Day Bill + Smith, with them I went down towards the building.  Thinking it best to do a little reconnoitering, we made our way to the east side of the building, where it was dark.  Directly south of the building there is an arc-light, and around this, is week crawled forward on hands and knees, we could see that there was quite a crowd of Juniors and Freshman assembled but no Seniors as yet.
