of time over which ours extended.  It really began on Monday Sept. 26, but the period of real activity was in the week mentioned - The Homecoming Week.

On Monday morning, as Bill and I were coming up Lunday St, we noticed in flaring yellow + green (our colors) various “strange devices” on a barn at the corner of green st.  On examining it we found it to be paint composed of dry powder and water.  As we looked up + around we saw that other barns, telephone-posts sidewalks, tree- trunks + every other available objects were daubled with the invincible yellow + green.

I would have liked to have given the sapheads who had done such a thing a good hard drubbing.  That was all
