In the evening Bill came over and wanted me to go down town, but as I knew he would see his girl down there, I emphatically refused and spent the evening in starting a plan of our house, having nothing else to do.
This morning I awoke at ten, arose, looked at the comic papers and studied my lessons for tomorrow. After dinner I went over two Bill’s to see if I could get a game of cards started out at King’s but when I called up King, he made some remark about someone being there and I desisted. Then Bill went down to get Bud to go out and play checkers so I stayed at home and finished the plans
