Ron Meyers (b. 1934)

In a different format from totem poles and other sculptures, Ron Meyers’ Totem Bottle (c. 2018) depicts animals—his “usual suspects”—in drawings on the ceramic glaze over a traditional vessel form, harkening back to anthropomorphic embellishments on artifacts of ancient cultures.
