Elsa Flores (b. 1976)

Elsa Flores takes a unique, very painterly approach to glazing the unique combination of shapes that compose her ceramic sculptures. Having worked as a marine biology educator in Redondo Beach, California from 1999-2002, Flores appears to have derived some of her shapes and glaze combinations on her appreciation of marine life.
