Edmondo Quattrocchi (1889-1966)

Edmondo Quattrocchi, who assisted sculptor Charles Cary Rumsey, created this portrait bust that reveals his respect and admiration for his colleague. Following Rumsey's tragic death in an automobile accident in 1922, he also wrote a biographical text for widow, Mary Harriman Rumsey in 1923. A copy of the manuscript is in the Charles Cary Rumsey Archives of the Burchfield Penney Art Center.
