Bill Stewart (1941-2020)

In 1971, when many ceramic artists were making functional stoneware vessels with earth-toned glazes, Bill Stewart went in the opposite direction by using low-fire clay, molded forms, commercially prepared glazes, and decal applications for unique, humorous sculptures.
