For many years, Anna Kuo’s work centered on issues of Chinese-American experience. Now it is described as: “rooted in the metaphysical experience. Energies abound, take shape and assemble into form. The task is to remain connected to other sources of consciousness. Within the human psyche, transparent dimensional warps can occur. These openings are obscured to different degrees by veils of physicality imposed by the ego. The meditative experience and conscious connected breathwork are accesses through these psychological warps. The silence is allowed to speak. The resulting vibrational forms support more meaning in one sequence. Resonances are set and healings can occur. To paint is 'To Write Gods'. The images become part of a ritual invocation where primordial beings shape collective memory and eternal time.
