The majestic Niagara Falls is a both a tourist destination and a cultural symbol as an international entry point between Canada and the United States. About 30 million people a year visit Niagara Falls, which is actually comprised of three waterfalls: the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Canadian or Horseshoe Falls. Artists have been depicting the falls for centuries. James K. Y. Kuo’s rendition achieves the balance, order, and lyricism typical of his artworks that combine concepts from Eastern and Western aesthetics.
