“Lein’s Barn, Seneca Creek Road, Gardenville, N.Y.”
When the West Seneca Bee published a vintage photograph of the “West Seneca Stockyards” on Nov. 5, 1981, the caption read: “This stock barn, once at 157 Seneca Creek Rd., was the largest in Erie County during the early years of this century. Owned and operated by Henry Lein, it was destroyed in 1929 by fire. It included a scale office, carriage house, horse stable, cow stable, wagon shed and feed room.
