Artist Richard F. Sturm and poet Daniel Zimmerman, both born in Buffalo, collaborated on the creation of this work. Sturm wrote that he "was responsible for production of the lithographs, embossings, design and construction of a container for the unbound livre deluxe as well as arranging type-setting and printing from stone. The introduction is by Robert Creeley. The artist, educator and art theorist Gyorgy Képes wrote a letter of support for the Canada Council Grant so that [Sturm] could produce this collaboration. A copy of this livre deluxe is also in the Poetry and Rare Book Room at SUNYB as well as the National LIbrary of Canada and the Art Gallery of Ontario."
