Adele Becker (1929-2021)

Images #5 uses a multitude of colors to suggest the presence of sound waves and energy. Adele Becker has often compared her art to music and said the content is much like rhythm, harmony, and movement. Though she is mostly known for her landscape paintings, this is one example of her non-objective work. The Buffalo-born artist has remained a city resident. She studied at the Albright Art School and eventually became a member of both the Buffalo Society of Artists and the Patteran Society.
