Worked hard all afternoon on children’s portfolios – finish at 5:30. When I went out the beauty of the twilight was startling – Clear watery sky with a dazzling metallic green cast, the snow-covered house roofs against it a rich cold blue –

To Studio ‒ make scrapbook for Sally with a decorated cover which pleases her, and makes the other children extract promise from me to make them one, tho I had already planned to do so.

Another day like yesterday—the finest winter weather we have had for a long time.
Working today on a painting I started back in 1921 in Salem – was able almost to finish it.
Made two more scrapbooks for children.
