In a rather “blue” mood for painting, nevertheless, encouraged by B (who is a priceless jewell [sic] as she always is in a “crisis”) I determined to continue work on the “Moonrise” albeit there would be no market for it. So, all day on it—and it went better. The subject fills me with joy.
