Another mild day—Altho I felt I should be out, I worked in the studio, mounting paper etc. Getting ready for the visitors from the Institute tonight.
Evening—Rowe came first, then Blair a little after—Talk awhile in house, then all to studio—Looking at Rowe’s pictures. He has made great studies. I liked especially his large romantic Adirondacks landscapes—Then showed most of my recent work, and some partially completed things. Late, David Pratt came in on an errand & stayed awhile. Blair left first as he was worried about his wife being alone. Rowe stayed & we had coffee & doughnuts talking until 3:00.
