To church. As we drive out Clinton, we could see that the distant hills to the south were white with snow. A peculiar thrill, to realize that only so short a distance away, winter had come, while here it was yet fall. A light snow around the church territory.
At dinner time Walter M. calls up, invites us for tomorrow night.
