A dazzling sunny morning- impossible to look at the creek for its brilliance.
Played the Sibelius 2nd Symphony- I imagined as I listened, a “dream” home where I might be also listening to it- a huge living room with large windows facing south & west, an enormous fireplace at the east end, and windows at the south side at the upper half- which revealed a dark mysterious woods, full of the feeling of north and with deep ravines – late autumn brilliant leaves still on some trees, the sun low in the south streaming across tawny & ivory grassy meadows & hills.
