A beautiful sunny shining-like day—
P.M. sketch from the “top” of our lot S.W. winds. Prior to beginning everything seemed to go wrong, difficulty getting the easel out of the shed; then it blew over—then the wind literally tore my mounted paper away from the clips—then I knocked over a pail of water, drenching one foot.
In spite of all that—fine to be out in the open painting again. A fairly good sketch.
