Much warmer in the night—an exciting day, {*snow drops in yard.} a strong wind driving cool gray layer clouds north—eastwards, with a ban of yellow sunlit sky at the horizon in the south. I pulled away some leaves in the hepatica garden & discovered some snow—drops in bud. I feel like kneeling right down in the wet soggy earth and thanking god for the seasons. The return of Spring!
