I just finished reading “Ninety-Three.” It seems I was unconsciously waiting for Hugo at this time. Overwhelmed by the book, I sat exalted and watched the howling yellow afterglow in the cold dusk; and afterwards took a romantic walk in [dark] fields & woods under the starry sky.
