Working the last few afternoons on the 1917 Carlisle’s House picture- It is greatly improved with the diminution of fussy contrived conventions, and the addition of a telephone pole at the left.
The other night, when I had to sit up and cough at 3:00 am- I decided to play music for solace. I played the Cimarosa Concerto for two flutes- which is about the gayest music I ever heard. An angel recording, it represents perfect in all departments- Beautiful music, flawless playing, absence of surface noise, and naturalness of sound- a delight.
